St. Charles Seminary plans to consolidate its operations into the “upper campus” buildings – the part of campus furthest away from City Avenue and closest to Indian Creek.  This consolidation will require renovating those buildings, adding parking, and moving the Seminary entrance.  The Seminary intends to present its plans to the Township Zoning Hearing Board on May 15, 2014.

St. Charles' zoning application, proposed site plan, traffic study, and township memo are attached below.

In anticipation of the zoning hearing process, St. Charles Seminary will host two public meetings to discuss their plans.  The first meeting will be held on Thursday evening, May 8 at 7:30 PM and is intended for the Indian Creek neighbors.  The second will be held on Monday evening, May 12 at 7:30 PM for the Merion neighbors.  We were told that the presentation will be the same for both meetings and that if you are not able to attend your neighborhood meeting then you are welcome to attend the other.   Both meetings will take place in the Auditorium of Vianney Hall in the Theology Division of the Seminary (upper campus).
