St. Charles Seminary Zoning Hearing Board Meeting

posted May 14, 2014, 6:24 AM by Coalition for Neighborhood Character and Quality
St. Charles Seminary plans to consolidate their activities into the “upper campus” – the part of campus, furthest away from City Avenue, that the Seminary plans to keep.  Their zoning application will be heard by the Township Zoning Hearing Board on Thursday, May 15 at 7:15 p.m. in the second floor boardroom of the Township building.

The Seminary's zoning application for the upper campus requests special exceptions and zoning variances. We have attached the Seminary's application, traffic study, and site plans, as well as the Township's memo about the zoning appeal, in PDF format below.

The Seminary's requests include: Opening a second entrance from E. Wynnewood Road (directly across from S. Highland Ave); permission not to install the required buffer of trees and bushes that would screen abutting neighbors; and paving additional parking.
